Welcome to my website. My friends have been after me for a long time to get me to collect some of my photography all in one place. I hope this quiets them down.
Much of my photography over the past decade or two has been centered around my involvement in music. My inspirations for this come from my friends and ‘mentors’, Dick Waterman (“Between Midnight and Day”), and the late David Gahr (“The Face of Folk”).
Lately though I’ve focused more on other interests including travel, modeling, and what I call ‘environmental portraiture’.
The site is still under construction, but at the moment I am spotlighting images that have been included in “The Green Songbook”, published by Alfred Publishing and benefiting a terrific music integration organization called, “Guitars in the Classroom”. I’m honored and grateful to my friends who put this together and invited me to have my photographs included in this book, which has terrific environmentally related songs by some of my friends and musical heroes.
The book is principally a songbook dedicated to teaching anyone how to play guitar, while in itself, teaching the reader about our environment. But it does include over two dozen of my images as black and white prints. I have included both the black and white versions as well as the original color versions here on the site, along with all of the images I submitted.
I invite you to wander through the galleries, and hopefully one or two will inspire you. And I hope you’ll join my email list so that as this website grows and evolves, I can send you important updates.
Thank you for visiting.
